Dear colleagues and friends,

As Local Organizing Committee, it is a great pleasure for us to invite you to the International Society of Intraoperative Neurophysiology (ISIN) Educational Course, that will take place from 1 November 2018 to 3 November 2018 in Madrid, Spain.

ISIN’s Educational Course is yearly organized in three-year cycles, covering the whole spectrum of intraoperative neuromonitoring. The previous course was organized in Seoul, South Korea, with great success, while next year the course has its venue in Vienna, Austria.

2018 Educational Course theme will be ‘Brain Neurophysiological Monitoring’, which is in fact the Part II of the Third Cycle of the ISIN courses and will be organized by the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology of Gregorio Marañón University Hospital in cooperation with the ISIN.

The course is a three-day multidisciplinary event intended for neurophysiologists, neurologists, neurosurgeons, orthopedic surgeons, ENTs, neuroradiologists, anesthesiologists, neuroscientists, residents, technologists, advanced practitioners and other physicians with interest in IOM.

Course and discussion groups are designed to provide a solid review of the fundamentals and the latest scientific advances in brain neurophysiological monitoring and they also offer the opportunity for face-to-face interaction with members of our faculty (many of them authors of the most important articles, chapters and books in the field), facilitating exchanges of knowledge and experiences and delineating future perspectives. During this event latest advances in medical equipments will be exhibited in cooperation with healthcare industry that allows us developing newer, safer and more reliable monitoring techniques to preserve the integrity of our patients´ nervous system.

We are delighted to invite you to participate in our activities and initiatives, and we encourage you to join the organization as a great opportunity to network with the International Monitoring Community.

We would love to meet you in Madrid, a lively cosmopolitan and friendly city where everyone feels at home. The capital of Spain, which combines tradition and modernity, offers a safe, comfortable setting, rich artistic and natural heritage, cultural options, quality accommodation, fine cuisine and night life that make it one of the most attractive cities in the world.

We thank the unconditional support of the ISIN Board members who elected Madrid and who have in all ways helped us making this event a reality, the Scientific and Educational Committees who elaborated an excellent program and the economic effort and cooperation of the companies.

Wishing you a productive and pleasant time enjoying the scientific program and meeting old and new friends and colleagues, on behalf of the ISIN, we look forward to welcome you to Madrid.

Sincerely yours,
